It was a day full of whimsical romance when Alessandro and Sara were married before 370 guests at the Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Parish in Toronto. Their reception followed at The Warehouse.
The couple met on a night on the town with mutual friends. They initially became fast friends, but after four months of friendship, they went on their first date. They have been together ever since.
Their engagement was just as romantic as how they fell in love. “Alessandro and I had been hosting summer boat parties so our family and friends could come together,” says Sara. “Alessandro asked me to pull what I thought was a raffle ticket out of a bag, but instead it was a velvet box. He got down on one knee, told me he loved me and asked me to marry him.” She cried and their guests erupted in applause.
Enroute to their reception, the fun-loving couple spotted a carnival that was underway directly behind their venue and they couldn’t resist. “Matt, our photographer, was able to capture amazing photos. He even caught Alessandro and I stopping at the ice cream truck for a treat,” recalls Sara.
